The ecological sections within the monographs contain information on the geographical distribution of each fungus, macro- and micro-habitats, nutrient requirements, susceptibility to antagonism and predation, and other information of ecological relevance. The monographs are completed by details of the conditions necessary for growth and reproduction, the capacity of the fungus for enzymic degradation, its metabolic products and its pathogenic potential. | ||
